Back then, when I was in school, I remember my teachers saying Earth is also a planet and I used to be kicked about the fact, God! I am living in one of those planets. As time passed by and once again I tried to reckon those classes, I began wondering, “Is this called the Planet Earth?”
My doubt may raise many eyebrows, thinking what this zygote is talking about? My dear readers just move your heads a little away from your PCs (Not Priyanka Chopra, lusty minds!), and see the world around. I am sure there would be humpty questions lingering in the mind as to what are we doing and where is the road ahead?
All of us are in this rat race of making a survival and ensure a comfortable living, although the process of attaining comfortable living is definitely not comfortable. Just think of the quantum of resources we are wasting and also the terrifying amounts of toxins we are adding to the environment.
Take the case of Hyderabad, the city where I live and touch wood, I am so very proud of pulling off the tag, “Arre! Ye Pucca Hyderabadich Hai Yaaro!” There were certainly great moments in my life where a new mall opens up, I rush and spoil myself with some stuff (Poor dad! His efforts were always futile!) Or when a new IT park opens up, used to do some free word of mouth marketing (I guess could have made a fortune) by discussing the best points of IT park.
Such were the days gone and sank down my memory lanes only because of the present chaos, be it the glorifying Tank Bund, which was a feast to the eyes back or the historic connections that we had.
It is not a surprising fact, now the identity of Hyderabad is changing primarily due to the Telangana agitators and also for the recent scams by our so called “Political Leaders”. A shameful act that not just tore the harmony of Hyderabad but also a sinful outcome that has made several lives badly affect.
Numerous IT projects that were supposed to come to Hyderabad have been shifted to other work locations, further denting the revenues of the state. Also, several people have faced innumerable problems during the chaos and countless of others have become outrageous and vented their anger on the state assets like the iconic status on the Tank Bund and many more.
My point is, constitution has fortunately or unfortunately given right for everyone to share their opinions, but I am more interested to know, in which page of the constitution it is written that one is also allowed to destroy the public and government property.
Also, another point is, in the name of Democracy, there are countless of pointless minds debating on the rights and duties of an Indian citizen. My dear Leaders and Agitators, I would be glad if you can explain the Rights and Duties of a Citizen. I am waiting.
Hey Ananth, not a lifetime is sufficient for waiting bcoz none of them would turnup to explain u... they are busy forever with their own agitations & politics... ha ha...
ReplyDeleteAgreed, but the quantum of damage that has occurred to the city and also to 'Brand Hyderabad' is irreplaceable. All I can say is Hyderabad RIP
