Hey friends! Really long sabbatical from Coffee, Smokes and Laughs. In fact, I am still wondering how I could keep this writing space empty for so long, as the name of the blog is so closely attached to my life. Yes friends, I burn my lungs few good number of times every day, drink at least one cuppa coffee and try to lose my weight by laughing few good number of times. Yet, I am little away from this good titled blog. (Thanks to myself for coming up with such a rejuvenating name).
Anyway, lemme come out of this
self-appreciation and pen up few points of what I have been doing of late. Yes,
gotcha! I’ve been little busy with few good things in life like doing some
really interesting work (Positive Thinking, Huh!), riding my bullet few extra
miles and enjoying the kick (those extra miles are must, and don’t have a
choice either), and what else, I bought a new car friends!
Well, before you share your
congratulations and make your plans to surround me with your party threats, the
car is already at the workshop before it could reach the 1000 kms milestone due
to a heart breaking accident.
Now, I am sure at this point many
of my readers are planning to conclude, “Bastard! Must have banged the car
after getting drunk.” That would have been little comforting probably for a
fact that will happen in my own hands under the influence of alcohol.
But friends, I really had to soothe
myself when an uncle of mine in an excitement to drive the new car (the ribbons
haven’t been removed yet) zipped it as if it were a grand prix and within few
seconds, I hear the BANG!
What a ground-shattering thing to
watch. Man I spent a fortune in buying that car and had to confront so many
ideas and negations and finally succeed in buying the machine. And to my horror, I had to see the car
coming back with a completely dented and hanging boot and a tail lamp that is
completely crushed into granules.
Man! My moment of horror! I never
felt so very weak in my knees even when I bumped over few hottest chicks
(Nothing wrong with my hormones, but car any day better is than woman). I really
was in helpless and the more irritating part is that the new ribbon that came
along with the car was actually used to tie the boot.
This is it! Not even the bitter
enemy should be coming across such an incident/accident. It is really a grief-stricken
moment. However, as they say whatever happens, happens for good. I hope the
jinx is gone with this accident.
But friends, I must have put this
story in a funny tone but I appeal you to handle your car like the way you
handle your woman. Any of these broken once, there is no peace in life. Not being
emotional but then the heart burn is massive.
Nice article Raghu........
