Business Disorders

This probably is the quickest time ever, I’ve come back to this blog with a new post. I really love commuting the long distance to work every day.  Are you thinking I commute in a chopper every day to work? Nah! Neither I own a business to afford one nor have any fortunes behind. In fact, it is not for any random Joe and I am no different. Despite the stressful traffic, I enjoy it primarily for reading the advertisement hoardings/billboards during my commute. They are crisp, direct and engaging besides being creative and innovative. So, no reason for me to ignore it and I find it more interesting than IPL.  The other day, I came across two billboards almost overlapped on each other. One is about a branded spectacle frames and lenses boasting their best range of products with super discounts. The immediately overlapping board was about Lasik Surgery. For a second I was taken aback that both these are right next to each other. I slowed down to reconfirm and...

Love Your EMIs – They will Love You Back

A little over a year it has been I spent some time on this blog. Not that I was exhausted with thoughts and ideas to share, but honestly, couldn’t come across anything that is brilliant to share, at least that could meet my satisfaction scores. Of late, I discovered some interesting point about paying my EMIs . So many times I thought for more how many years I would be paying for someone whom I do not at all. But over the years, I think discovered a new dimension to it. The process of working, earning and saving a bit for spending on holidays or something else reminds me of a card game, where the pack of cards changes its sequence after each round of game. Finally, how you plan and visualize the game differs completely from the way it ends. In the same way, the priorities have changed its sequence each time making me realize of something else that becomes more important at that point of time. Many times I deferred buying something for myself or spend an evening in the club ...

Remember That...!

Interestingly, this time, it wasn’t the lack of zing thing to write or busy working. There were so many thoughts and flickering ideas buzzing my mind for too long time. Honestly, I was in a little dilemma to write on the precise thought. Too long time, isn’t it? Huh! Anyway, let me not scribble down exclamations any further. Of late, I am being reminded on the good ol’ days I’ve had in my life. Too often! May be it is a heads up for realigning things around my life. Yes friends, the good ol’ days were not just about gulping few drinks and hopping around places with besties, rather it was all about sharing few good laughs, making few stirring memories. Now, when I track back all those, it is upsetting to know that they are all broken boulevards. Friendly interactions have been replaced with business appointments, free spirited conversations have now become planned agenda discussions, and what more, and walking into your friends’ house without any prior notice is almost a pass...

The Memoirs of Purani Jeans

The love for the old jeans is the best thing one can never miss in their life. Yes friends, every almirah will have a purani Jeans (old Jeans) albeit some may be of no good fit anymore. Damn the Mayonnaise and Cheese burst junk that we end up binging on. Especially, if you are Hyderabadi the culprit for killing the happiness of wearing your old Jeans is the yummy Biryani. Kya Karen yaaron… Yeh biryani… mashallah… duniya ki aakhri cheez hai. Truly, it brings back so many memories in our lives. Well did I say memories? My day usually begins with a late wake up and sprint around the house to finish my chores and frisk like a cop for picking up my stuff.   During this entire frisk, I often put my fingers on my old jeans only with a hope that someday or other, I will regain my shape and come back into those old pair of jeans. Well, to be honest over the years I think I must have grown up like an amoeba. Hate my lifestyle and my food habits.   Every time I lo...

Here I am… On the Road Again… Bullet Ride to Basara...

With the charging excitement and burning asphalt, here I am on the road again. And this time the road trip did all the magic it was supposed to. This short getaway also seemed to be the sequel to my recently done Goa trip. Hmm… did I mention Goa? Let me talk about it in my next article. The quick trip to Basara was keenly looked forward because it was a family outing after really long time. And guys, it was actually really long time. The destination is quite a famous pilgrimage as Goddess Saraswati abodes there.   My son’s Aksharabhyasam was planned there and somehow, I made up my mind that it has to be done in that village. Not that I am religious or something, but my only intention was that we all as a family would be able to spend together in a new milieu. Now I hope many of you may be finding some difficulty to read the word referring to the ritual. Let me make things easy for you. It is a customary indicating the child is now ready to obtain formal education. “Welc...

Good Friends are Like Rare Pearl Shells. Never Know When You’ll Find Them.

Hello Coffee, Smokes and Laughs lovers. Now, this has been really long time I wrote something on this blog. Not that I am busy or handling too many pressures, but honestly friends I did not want to write just for few page visits. Moreover, I am averse to the idea of writing simply for the heck of writing. It has been a solid 6 months I have shared my last post. So what I have been doing these 6 months is truly very interesting. I have been learning some interesting aspects of writing, visualizing things around and exercise them into words. Ahem! Not to forget, I have been working too during these 6 months with a little more work load that often makes me think when I will work on something that is actually sensible and rational. Need I say more about the how few irrational activities happen at work? So friends, with this entire roller coaster ride at work and life, I happened to reinvent my mind once again with lots of fun, energized activeness and what more, with lots of pe...

Two States - A Denting Thought for Mulkies

While many are in celebrations, my mind is dented badly with wounded thoughts. Sounds a pathos line beginning in the blog that claims to give little fun in reading? Yes friends, I tried my best to get over it, however, the current developments are immensely painful. The new states formation (Andhra & Telangana) has put me in a state of dented thoughts, when I rewind all the things I did since the time I was young. The streets I roamed, the number plates on the bikes and cars I drove, the cell phone tariffs, the malls and theatres and many other belonged to  Andhra Pradesh as a whole. Our proud, historic and nostalgic places etc. all have few interesting stories to share in my life on personal note. Today, these stories have taken an ugly turn and this makes me more hurt as I should refer that “When it was Andhra Pradesh”. It’s so very weird to think about few things in life that are going to be like, telling the stories to my kid that Hyderabad and other part of Telugu...
